Following a successful third place finish in their first season in the BCIHL, the mens hockey team at Okanagan College is set to begin the 2010-2011 season. With a new name, Coyotes, several new additions to the roster, and 12 returning players, the team is ready and eager to fight for the BCIHL Championship.

After two exhibition games last weekend, Monday’s practice concluded the Coyotes preseason and training camp. The coaching staff was able to make final cuts and thus finalize this season’s team. Check back soon for the 2010-2011 team roster and player profiles!

The Coyotes will kick off the season on the road, playing Thompson River University in Kamloops on Saturday, September 25th then will come back to Kelowna for their two game home opener the next weekend. The team will take on Simon Fraser University on October 1st at 8:45 p.m. and Trinity Western University on October 2nd at 9:00pm, both at Kelowna Memorial Arena.
