The Okanagan College Coyotes have added a pair of former junior hockey standouts in hopes of making a run at the 2011 B.C. Intercollegiate Hockey League title, as forwards Lucas Blinkhorn and Keagan Little will be on board when spring semester action begins this weekend.Blinkhorn was the captain of the Revelstoke Grizzlies squad that captured league, provincial and national titles in March and April of 2010. The 5'11" forward tallied 17 goals and 48 points in just 35 regular season games with the Grizzlies before contributing 24 points in 15 playoff contests.
Little spent three seasons with the Castlegar Rebels and set career highs in 2009 with 26 goals and 54 points. Overall, the six-foot tall forward netted 59 goals and 120 points in 109 Kootenay International Junior Hockey League games.
Blinkhorn and Little join a strong core of former KIJHL stars at Okanagan College, including former Sicamous Eagles captain Aaron Buat and graduated Nelson Leafs all-star Brock Munro who lead the team with 16 and 14 points respectively.
